What's actually in a consulting hour?
One topic, focused. We don't waste 20 minutes on intros — you fill an intake form first so I walk in knowing the context. Decision made, summary written up the same day, done.
How is this different from the scoping calls for builds?
Scoping calls are free and they're sales conversations — you're deciding whether to hire me for a build. Consulting hours are paid engagements where you're the one making the call and I'm the one helping you think through it.
Why is hourly more expensive than the packs?
The pack discount rewards commitment. Ten hours committed upfront earns the $250/hr effective rate. Ad-hoc hours are $350 — you're paying for optionality.
Can I roll unused pack hours into a build engagement?
Yes — if you go from consulting pack to a Pulse Pro Pack or custom build, any remaining consulting hours credit toward the build invoice.
Do you sign NDAs for consulting?
Yes, mutual NDA before we get into specifics. Standard form, signed electronically, usually same-day.
What do you NOT do in consulting?
I don't make trading recommendations, I don't give legal or financial advice, and I don't take on engagements I can't deliver on. If you're asking for something outside my lane, I'll say so.
